“The most expensive drain system is the one you have to pay for twice”
Can you afford a “Quick Fix”?
Sometimes property managers or owners have luck with an inexpensive quick fix. Often we see these fixes fail when a person or company, who doesn’t specialize in drainage, takes a guess on the solution to a water problem.
Things we see-
- Pipe doesn’t slope right
- The wrong size pipe is used
- Improper intake/discharge boxes locations
- Gravity is relied on when a pump would have been needed.
- Soil is added to problem areas, causing water displacement elsewhere
How can you avoid these problems-
We will meet with your Engineer, maintenance supervisor, landscaper, or property manager on site to discuss your problem and make recommendations.
A plan will be created for your specific conditions to include a drawing of the areas where drainage will be installed. It will list all materials that will be needed, the proper excavation depth and slope so your drain will function properly the first time.
Remember, most drainage problems just don’t go away. Choosing the wrong company, or solution, to save money could mean that you’ll be spending more in the long term.
